Terms of service

Effective · Version 1.0

These terms apply to Appbox hosting purchased from Dcrypt through our client portal. Read them alongside the service specification and final order summary before accepting them at checkout.

1. Service and orders

Appbox is a hosted service. Your selected configuration, extras, billing cycle, currency and charges appear in the final order summary. Only the features included in that order or separately agreed in writing form part of your service.

An order confirmation acknowledges your request; payment confirmation and service activation are separate steps. Check their status in the portal. An order does not promise immediate provisioning. If we cannot supply your order, we will contact you and return any payment for the service we cannot supply.

2. Your account

You must be legally able to enter this agreement and authorized to make the purchase. Keep your email and the billing information required for payment and tax accurate. Protect your password and verification codes, and tell us promptly through Support if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for people you authorize to use your account or service.

3. Prices, payments and renewal

Review the final total, including selected extras, any valid discount and applicable tax, before submitting your order. The currency, payment method, recurring charges and billing cycle shown at checkout apply. Promotions apply only when validated at checkout and subject to their stated conditions.

Recurring services continue on the selected billing cycle until cancelled. Renewal amounts and due dates appear on your invoices. A saved payment method may be charged when you have authorized automatic collection; otherwise, pay each invoice by its due date. A payment redirect alone is not proof of payment: the invoice must show the payment as received.

Overdue invoices may result in service suspension. We will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to resolve payment problems before suspension, except where urgent action is required by law or to prevent harm. Contact Support promptly if you dispute a charge. We will notify you of any proposed price change before it applies to a future renewal, so you can cancel before that renewal.

4. Cancellation and refunds

Request cancellation from your service page in the portal or through a support ticket. Choose immediate cancellation or cancellation at the end of the current billing period where available. Check the request status or ask Support to confirm it. Cancelling a payment authorization alone does not cancel the service.

Export any files you need before cancellation or termination; service access ends and hosted data may be deleted afterwards. Charges already properly incurred remain payable, subject to your legal rights. Cancellation does not by itself promise a refund for an unused period.

For a billing error, service problem or refund request, open a ticket and include the invoice or order reference. We will assess the request under any written offer that applies and applicable consumer law. Nothing in these terms removes a right to a refund, repair or other remedy that the law gives you.

5. Acceptable use and your content

Use the service lawfully and within the resources and limits of your purchased configuration. You must own your content or have permission to store, access and share it. Dcrypt provides hosting, not a library of media or rights to third-party content.

Do not use the service for unlawful content, copyright infringement, malware, unsolicited bulk messages, fraud, unauthorized access, attacks, or activity that harms other users or infrastructure. Do not bypass security or the service limits.

We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect systems or comply with law. Where practicable, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to resolve it. Serious or repeated breaches may lead to termination. You may challenge an action through Support.

6. Data, maintenance and third-party tools

Keep an independent copy of important files and settings. Hosting is not a substitute for your own backup. We will exercise reasonable care in providing the service, but uninterrupted access and data recovery are not guaranteed unless specifically included in your written service agreement.

Maintenance, network faults and third-party dependencies can affect availability. We will provide notice of planned work where practicable. Third-party applications, domains, integrations and payment providers may have their own terms; availability of those tools does not give you rights to their software or content.

7. Support, complaints and your rights

Use Support in the client portal for service problems, billing questions, cancellation requests and complaints. Include the relevant service or invoice reference and describe the outcome you need. We will respond through your ticket conversation.

These terms do not exclude or limit rights, guarantees, remedies or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. If a term cannot be enforced, the remaining terms continue only to the extent permitted by law. You may use any complaint or dispute process available under applicable law.

8. Changes to these terms

The version accepted when you order applies to that order. We will communicate material proposed changes before they apply to a future renewal and give you an opportunity to cancel before they take effect. Publishing an updated page does not retrospectively change an existing agreement.
